Hi, I’m Emily! I provide much more than just a simple watering service- I offer holistic stewardship for your sanctuary. 

I have spent over 24 years in the soil, from managing 8,000 tropical species at the historic Volunteer Park Conservatory, educating people on the benefits of native plants post-wildfires, growing medicinal herbs, and founding my own landscape design firm. 

My background as a production designer for film and television for a decade and my features in publications like Justina Blakeney’s The New Bohemians, allow me to view your collection through a lens of both biological health and high-end aesthetic design. I am dedicated to ensuring your botanical companions thrive and vibrate at their highest frequency while you are away!

Why Experience Matters:

Your plants deserve more than a well meaning neighbor with a watering can. While a neighbor might be great at checking the mail, they often do not know the difference between a thirsty leaf and a drowning root! I have worked with plants for years and know intuitively when a plant needs care. I have seen too many friends come home to devastated plants, and I am here to make sure you never have to deal with a botanical crime scene. Whether you have high value rare Aroids or sensitive tropicals, I have the technical background to care for them. As a diagnostic expert, I identify nutrient deficiencies and pest outbreaks before they manifest. My approach is ethnobotanical and deeply rooted in Ayurvedic botanical medicine. I view plant care as a ritual of wellness, using hand-forged Onoyoshi shears from Kobe, Japan, and custom vibrational essences to your help your home stay vibrant and centered.

My Holistic Approach to Care•

I treat your plants like a private museum collection. 

My mindful practice is rooted in my certifications as a Reiki master, yoga instructor, and Ayurvedic health counselor. This clinical and energetic background allows me to care for plants from the roots to the crown! I use custom blended therapeutic mists featuring Sunsong Quantum Essences and vibrational treatments charged with Red Jasper and Desert Agate gemstones I hand harvested in the Mojave. These stones ground the root chakra of the home and protect the plants’ auric fields, ensuring an organic connection to the earth even in an urban environment. 

I am dedicated to craftsmanship and minimizing waste so I source my materials from local specialty vendors like Rolling Greens, Sunset Nursery, Fig Earth Supply, Plant Material, and Building Block. 

By utilizing premium amendments like fine orchid bark and nutrient dense earthworm castings, I rebuild the living soil microbiome. This is the gold standard of care for the discerning plant parent who wants true peace of mind!

Services and Pricing~

• Initial Consultation: Free 20 minute visit in LA metro to assess your collection and timing needs.

• Elevated Holistic Care and Maintenance: $48 per hour (Zelle, Venmo, or cash accepted). Essential Therapy, pruning, grooming, and Energetic Mist included, fertilizers and integrated pest management is billed as necessary.

• Repotting and Refresh. $45 for 4 to 6 inch pots, $65 for 6 to 10 inch pots, and $75 for 12 inch or larger. Soil & Materials are billed at retail cost with no upcharge fees. These are add-on fees to my hourly rate.

• Bespoke Interior Design. Starting at $100 per hour, including mapping light and thermal energy throughout your home to place your plants in the best conditions available to them. We can overhaul your space whether it’s big or small and make it a plant sanctuary you love living in.

• Personal Plant Shopping: $250 flat day rate for up to four hours of sourcing and transport. Delivery is billed based on nursery cost for larger orders.

My fees apply to the LA Metropolitan area, but I’m happy to travel to Orange County or Santa Barbara areas 💚
